I'm noticing that I have a bit of a thing for clouds at the moment. I still remember learning about cumulonimbus and stratus clouds back in the day...
There was a cool change in the air last night and so the new slippers are being enjoyed.I've been inspired to bake a loaf of bread. I'm sure it will be well received since the girls and I don't often eat white bread.
Every time I get around to trimming the hedge and it takes me hours to do I always say to myself I must do this more often so it doesn't take me this long, every time. Do you do that sort of thing too?
Wishing you a wonderful day♥
Out where we live you really can't help but notice the clouds as the panorama is so wide. When I'm in the car with the kids we like to spot shapes in the clouds or identify what type they are. My cumulonimbus memories are a little vague I'm afraid. I'm loving your photos lately :)
ReplyDeletei can remember back in the days.....and love the patterns that some clouds make. My solution to trimming shrubs was to get electric clippers but you are restricted by the length of the cord.
ReplyDeleteIt is cool up here on the Downs too the last 24 hours just to remind us that winter is on the way. Love your slippers I have moccies.
I love the clouds. I remember having the time as a child to lie on my back in the yard and just watch them. I really should do that with Ginger some time soon.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Catherine, especially the hedge shot. Things are starting to cool down a bit over here too in the mornings and evenings, it's feeling more like autumn now which is nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky and photos. I'm hoping the cold shift means a warm shift here! x
ReplyDeleteCloud gazing is always fun when they're white and the sky is blue :)
ReplyDeleteTis freezing here as well, the boys are still in the pool everyday though! The water temp is 27c but the outside temp.... brrrrr! I do our hedges with an electric trimmer. It has changed my life, yours looks perfect so I am guessing you have one as well? xx
ReplyDeleteOh those slippers look comfy! There is a chill in the air, tis the season to start having pajama days! Enjoy wearing them!

ReplyDeleteI love to cloud watch too, esp when the sky is a dazzling blue like in your picture
ReplyDeleteFantastic Photograpghy. I also remember the tranquility of lying on the trampoline as a child watching clouds and making animals or things out of them. Now my little man does exactly same thing! It's nice to take the time to notice skies beauty!
ReplyDeleteClouds are beautiful, maybe more a summer thing for me though! You have inspired me to make soup and damper for Sunday lunch, hope they turn out!!
ReplyDeleteI've been a bit besotted with clouds ever since the days of newborn washing. Hanging the wash out was the only chance to BREATHE!
