I am sure that by now anyone that still stops by to catch up on my photos probably doesn't want to, or needs to hear my usual reason for not posting regularly. My habit of being on the computer each evening has changed and I tend to try and wind down by reading. I do really like how Foxs Lane posts regularly each week so I am going to give that a go. I feel like that is probably a better fit for where I am with my routine of life at the moment. So here is a snapshot of the last couple of weeks around here. Chat with you again soon in a week, fingers crossed. May you have a wonderful week.

157/365 Little Visitor
Today I had my little weekly visitor come to play with me. We had all types of fun drawing, swinging on the swings, singing, reading, playing with doll house toys and today's favourite activity was painting. We chatted about the colours and how she was making circles and also there was some picture labelling too. It's fascinating watching them evolve and mature.

102/365 A little bit of knitting
It has been a long time since I have done any kind of knitting. I was inspired to do a bit after my daughter bought this gorgeous seed stitch cloth last week. I am a bit rusty and this picture was my first attempt, I'm now knitting my second attempt and going much better this time. Do you like to knit or crochet? I think crocheting is definitely my favourite.

74/365 Flowers for my Friend
I have another card to share with you today so hopefully you don't get sick of my cards that I share. March is one of those busy birthday months around here so I have had a few cards to make. And I still have another one left to do. Do you like to make handmade gifts or cards?

Helloooo
Gee where do I start.... I didn't mean for it to be so long in between posts. My goal this year was to be more focussed and place importance on things that matter to me like this blog. Life though can throw some curve balls and attention needs to be focussed elsewhere.
I have mentioned how my Nan was ill when we last spoke. She went to hospital and got tests done and all was ok, she was on the mend which was great. Then a couple of months down the track she woke with a terrible pain in her tummy, something wasn't quite right. She was rushed to the hospital and after some tests they discovered that her bowel was full, something that can happen, I didn't think it was anything to be concerned about at the time. But as you age and with other health complications it mean that it was very serious. Sadly my Nan did not make it and she passed away in hospital just days later from a blood infection and her body becoming toxic. It was such a shock to us all. She had been unwell but was in great spirits and we thought that we would have her in our lives for more years to come....My Nan, Ivy Bertha, passed away at age 88. Following her passing in March life has been a bit challenging. There is certainly the loss to adjust to, the finalising of her affairs and the family dynamics that have also changed as a result. I just haven't felt up to doing much of anything really. I have done things of course but it has been an effort. In time things will improve and this week has been a good one, I'm just taking each day as it comes and feel blessed to have family and friends to talk to and lean on when I need them.
I post on instagram often but if you aren't there I have put lots of photos up here to catch you up on what I have been up to this last couple of months. I hope to be back here more regularly now as things are slowly returning to a new normal, sharing a bit of crafting and gardening which I am planning on doing on Monday as we have a long weekend here. I hope you are all doing well those of you who still like to visit blogs.
Chat soon.

Our month of December
Well hello there....It has been a very long time since I have been in this space. I am sorry for not posting regularly for those who still like visiting blogs which sadly seems to not be the trend these days. I have spoken about it before here too that I too am guilty of going over to instagram, it seems to be the way of connecting these days. But I am determined that next year I will be back here in this space more often, posting I hope once a week. I am sure I can do it, I once used to post daily which seems hard to believe.... I don't think I quite have the same amount to blog about these days but you never know. So here is a little blog catchup from the month or two that have passed. There has been a bit of crafting, Christmas, my littlest finished primary school and my oldest has just one more year of high school and now it's school holidays time for fun!! I hope you have had a great Christmas celebrating with your loved ones and that you have had some time to relax over the holiday season. I will be back to do one last post of the year to chat about my goals I hoped to have achieved this past year. See you again soon and thank you to those who still visit and are following along.
