Today was a special day for me. I was able to experience something new with my family and relive old memories with my brother. In 1986, the first Gateway Bridge was opened and I was lucky enough to walk along it with my brother and father, a memory that I remember fondly. Today in Brisbane, the new Gateway Bridge was officially opened for the public to walk along it. I got the call from my brother on Thursday asking me to join him and his son for the walk, and I just couldn't pass up the chance to relive some memories. It's funny how you remember things and can compare them to today. The walk when we were children seemed to take so long but today it seemed so much quicker. I thought I would share a couple of photos from my day and the new memories I now have with my family and also with my brother's.
I hope your Sunday was special too.
