Molly was very over due for her haircut so Thursday she was given a new do. Molly has been given a bit of a make over with her new hair do and her teeth cleaned last week. I'm sure she appreciates how much we love and care for her.
Friday is my housework day so lots of cleaning has been done and not much else. But while I am cleaning I love to listen to a podcast. And my podcast pick for this week is Lavendaire, a podcast on personal grown and lifestyle design. Have you had a good Friday?

149,150/365 Back to the gym and the wooly dog
This is only the second time that I have been to the gym in the past 5 weeks. I really enjoy my exercising and can really notice the difference in how happy I am when I do it regularly. As I had two moles removed I was unable to go to the gym as I had stitches in. I am very grateful that all is well and my stitches are now gone, and things are healing. So this week I am back to my usual gym schedule which is fantastic although my muscles don't quite agree.
This cute, furry Molly is long overdue for her regular clipping. I must get to it very soon but both the girls think she looks rather cute scruffy.

114/365 Miss Molly
It didn't matter how much I called Molly she refused to look up for this photo today. I often think it would be fun to open an instagram account just for her but alas she knows what a camera is and just doesn't co-operate enough.

65/365 Happy Birthday Molly
I was never someone who made a big deal about their pets birthday, sadly for my poor cat Tiffany who I loved very much. But since we have had Molly, the girls love to remember her birthday and make a little bit of a fuss. So to celebrate her turning 8 years old today, we gave her a special meal and a new toy, there was some happy birthday singing too. Do you like celebrate your pets birthday?

60/365 Molly
Molly loves to sleep a lot these days as she is geeing older, soon she'll turn 8 years old. One of her favourite spots is to sleep under the coffee table. I think she likes the protection of being under something. And it doesn't seem to matter whether there is a whole bunch of cords in the way, she'll still sleep there.

38/365 Clipped and Cute
Today Miss Molly got herself a new hair do today. She was looking a little bit wild and wooly and the poor thing was feeling the heat. She isn't fond of going to get clipped and that sweet bow in her hair always comes out, she just doesn't like it. And as you can see from the sleepy look in the photos, she also finds it quite exhausting.

Helloooo
Gee where do I start.... I didn't mean for it to be so long in between posts. My goal this year was to be more focussed and place importance on things that matter to me like this blog. Life though can throw some curve balls and attention needs to be focussed elsewhere.
I have mentioned how my Nan was ill when we last spoke. She went to hospital and got tests done and all was ok, she was on the mend which was great. Then a couple of months down the track she woke with a terrible pain in her tummy, something wasn't quite right. She was rushed to the hospital and after some tests they discovered that her bowel was full, something that can happen, I didn't think it was anything to be concerned about at the time. But as you age and with other health complications it mean that it was very serious. Sadly my Nan did not make it and she passed away in hospital just days later from a blood infection and her body becoming toxic. It was such a shock to us all. She had been unwell but was in great spirits and we thought that we would have her in our lives for more years to come....My Nan, Ivy Bertha, passed away at age 88. Following her passing in March life has been a bit challenging. There is certainly the loss to adjust to, the finalising of her affairs and the family dynamics that have also changed as a result. I just haven't felt up to doing much of anything really. I have done things of course but it has been an effort. In time things will improve and this week has been a good one, I'm just taking each day as it comes and feel blessed to have family and friends to talk to and lean on when I need them.
I post on instagram often but if you aren't there I have put lots of photos up here to catch you up on what I have been up to this last couple of months. I hope to be back here more regularly now as things are slowly returning to a new normal, sharing a bit of crafting and gardening which I am planning on doing on Monday as we have a long weekend here. I hope you are all doing well those of you who still like to visit blogs.
Chat soon.

Well hello there strangers. How have you been? Have you had a good month? I can't quite believe that today is the 2nd of May, life moves very quickly. Every day for the month of April I participated in the Bethadilly Challenge, some days were a challenge but mostly I got out what I had hoped and that was to get my mojo for photo taking back. I have really enjoyed the process, the prompts that are given are helpful especially if a day at home hasn't been all that exciting. I haven't decided whether to participate again this month, I have enjoyed myself and I think that my photos have improved too which makes me happy. I think that the only reason I might not continue is because although daily photos are great some other things get lost like the days I might bake and want to share a recipe or when we go out for a Sunday drive.... To be honest I have missed those posts and how regular I used to post and how often others used to post too, blogging isn't the same as it used to be. Instagram is a great way of connecting with others but it's not quite the same as blogging... Well I think tomorrow I will be sitting down and making some lists (I love list making) to try and get my blogging back in order and a good start would be my inbox which has too many emails in there argh.
I hope your Sunday is a beautiful one. Thank you for stopping by.
