I'm not much of a decorator. I really don't have too much on display like I used to since we got rid of our display cupboard many years ago but now I have a little space of my own I thought it might be nice to try. Yesterday I bought myself a little treat from the second hand store. This milk glass bowl now sits on my desk filled with pretty coloured yarn, much nicer to see it than have it packed away.

Happy winter and summer my friends.

  4. I adore milk glass. I collected quite a few vases for our wedding and now have them displayed in a glass cabinet. You are right - much better to have them out and being used. That bowl is quite a find - I never came across one that size!

  10. Thats is pretty Catherine. Make sure you are not exposing wool to wool moths ( clothing moths )though I have heard it can be tragic and keep mine in sealed plastic bags now. Cotton and Bamboo are Ok. Just not wool. T. x

  11. Not much of a decorator indeed! This looks fabulous... plus it's my kind of display; the only way I'd get any use out of pretty yarns is as a visual point of interest. ;)
