A day spent at Mum and Dad's, catching up to celebrate belated birthdays and mother's day.  Time to just sit and chat and a laugh, enjoying the peacefulness that comes with being in the country. There was yummy food to eat, all of us contributing a little bit. My contribution a meyer lemon, barley and olive oil cake out of my new wholefood baking cookbook and my Nan always her pikelets with jam and cream. While I'm there I always like to take a walk around, to admire what they have created there.  Today the little one and I took a walk around, venturing further than the house yard to discover a fairy land, long grasses and butterflies touching her hand, it really was a bit magical. Come for a little walk with me.
Wishing you all a magical week.

Joining the lovely Em again this week.
