How was your Monday? I hope it was a relaxing one. We decided to stay home today, keep things quiet before we head back into a new term tomorrow. I'm feeling refreshed and hoping I can keep that feeling for a while but it usually doesn't last, school will go straight back to full on mode I'm sure. Today with my camera in handy reach I snapped a few photos of things that caught my eye. This is what today looked like.
I love the light catching in the fish bowl today.
They played a few games of connect four.
I made a big mess in the kitchen today.
Oh yes this is my Easter bunny.
My first attempt at making hot cross buns. They were meant to be choc chip but the chips melted they got the approval of the family which was good after the time consuming and messy process.
Enjoy your Tuesday.
The end of the school holidays already?????? Soooo sad.....good on you for making your own hot cross buns....I cheated and had store bought ones. Love the chocolate bunny too. Xxxx
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, end of the school holidays for us too and I am sure it will go back to being as hectic as usual! Those hot cross buns look delightful, well done! Happy Tuesday, Catherine. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a week to go. I don't know that I'll ever be brave enough to try cooking hot cross buns - I'm flat out having success even with a plain cake! Hang on to that holiday feeling x
ReplyDeleteThe end of your holidays is only really the start of ours! Hope the new term is treating you well so far :)
ReplyDeleteWe have another week here up our sleeve but I'm already dreading it's inevitable end :( We have the very same coloured fish at our place. Your hot cross buns look delicious Catherine! Here's hoping this next term flies a little faster :)

Hope everyone has settled back into School, just in time for another long weekend! Your hot cross buns looks brilliant, well worth the messy kitchen I reckon :-) Mel x
