A Few Photos for you

Hi there! Just thought I would drop in a show you what I have been up to the last few days. I have been visiting everyone but feeling just a bit lazy and so just couldn't be bothered to post, I'm very naughty so tonight is my catchup.

This cute little box pouch is going to my teenage next door neighbour and I used the tutorial from here after seeing over at one of my favourite blogs Hey Bubbles. The weekend was full of fun times with friends going to a good friends yearly Christmas party followed on Sunday by a christening. It was great to catch up with friends and it makes me release how lucky I am to have special people in my life, people I can depend on. So I was on a bit of a card making frenzy on Saturday night so I could take a card to go along with the christening gift. Within the same family two people share a birthday one day apart so a couple of cards for birthdays were needed too. That night was a late one for me but it was great to get back into a bit of stamping.

For this card I used the sketch from over at
Everything but the Kitchen Sink and to challenge myself again I chose the colours and a snowflake stamp from the challenge over at Embellish Magazine.

Anyway I should go and do something Christmassy like wrap or make cards (yes I know I haven't finished making Christmas cards) I would love to get them out to people if I can. Take care and I should be back soon but if not have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Thank you for stopping by and visiting .

Raspberry Suite #19

Hi there I just thought I would stop by with a card that I made for my sister in law last night for her birthday tomorrow, nothing like leaving things to the last minute.(lol) So her card is in the post with a gift voucher for some pampering which she deserves. I love a bit of a challenge and it helps to get the creative juices flowing so I thought I would give Dawn's Colour Challenge #19 a bit of a go. I haven't worked with these colours much and with no kraft, gee it was a challenge for me.(lol)

Anyway thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment on my card, I hope to see you around again.

A Father's Day Card and a Colour Challenge to share!

Hello there and happy Saturday to you! I hope that you have been enjoying your day. It has been a lovely day here visiting the library and the shops (so busy) and just generally hanging out together as a family. Since it is Father's Day tomorrow I thought I would share with you the card I made for my wonderful hubby for my girls to give. I used the colours from Dawn's Colour Challenge #16 for his card. It was one of those cards that I had an idea and in the end it just came together completely different to what I had imagined but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, it's really hard to judge your own work because I can be a bit critical of it. Enough of my rambling on, enjoy the rest of your weekend wherever you are and for those in Australia I hope that you enjoy Father's Day with those special in your life. Bye for now!

Dawn's Colour Challenge #14

Hello there everyone and thankyou for coming to visit. Today I thought while I had the chance I would give Dawn's Colour Challenge a go because last week I just missed out. The card I made was created for a little girl who will be celebrating her birthday this weekend. I don't have many little girl stamps but a cupcake is pretty safe. I hope that you are all having a lovely day. Bye for now.

Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge #6

Today was the perfect day to do a bit of card making. It seems like ages since I've made anything, I know it hasn't been that long but I have been doing a bit of crafting with material instead of paper lately. So with miserable inside weather today I went about creating this card for Dawn's Colour Challenge. I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by and coming to visit. Bye!

Raspberry Suite Challenge #5

I made this card especially for my Mum for Mother's Day. The colours in Dawn's Challenge were very pretty and it is also fun to play with new colours, for me, like basic gray. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my work, I love to hear from you. See you all again soon.

A Bag for the Boys!

I wanted to share with you tonight a bag that I made for a little boy who is celebrating his 5th birthday tomorrow. It is an ordinary kraft gift bag that I have used and just layered some blue cardstock onto the chocolate chip to give it the striped effect and machine stitched the whole piece and then adhered it to the bag with dimensionals. The stars are also clear embosssed and the star in the right hand corner is white embossed. The colours I chose for Dawn's Colour Challenge which are just lovely together. It was a little bit time consuming but I am really happy with the results, I hope you like it too. Bye for now!

Dawn's Colour Challenge #3

Hello there everyone! I have been busy crafting and looking at lots of blogs but not posting any of my work, sorry about that. I really wanted to participate this week in the challenge that Dawn posted and with a 30th birthday coming up I thought I would use this as the perfect opportunity to play. I got some of my inspiration from a picture in my latest Better Homes and Gardens magazine which had a little linen pouch with a strip of lace down the middle, with that idea I went with a shabby chic look! Not sure if passes that test but hopefully the birthday girl likes it. I hope that you are all having a lovely day and I will be back tomorrow with a few more Easter gift ideas for the little ones, not of the chocolate variety. Thanks for visiting. Bye!

Kwerner Colour Challenge #44

Goodmorning everyone! Last night I made this card for Kwerner's Colour Challenge this week. When I saw the colours that were chosen I was just a bit excited because firstly they are just such a pretty combination and finally I have all the colours so I could join in this time. I have been stamping for a long time but for a year I have been using Stampin Up products so I am slowly getting up a stash of materials. Yeh I just love stamping! Anyway I hope you like my little creation and I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday, I will be having fun grocery shopping and going to a fairy party my daughter just can't wait to go to. See you all again soon.

Kwerner Colour Inspiration #39

This is my card for Kristina's Colour Challenge #39. I am not absolutely confident about my layout for this card I have been angsting over it for some time that I decided that enough was enough and this was going to have to do.

To make this card I firstly stamped the Polka Dots with Basic Black ink, then I tied RR ribbon along the top then BB grosgrain ribbon below. I cut a circle out of WW cardstock with my nestabilities then stamped the butterfly image with WW ink, layering it on some yellow cardstock by Core-dinations cut with my scallop punch. I added some white dots in the scallops also. I stamped the sentiments, added some rhinestones and a butterfly stamped with RR ink, matted it with the core-dinations cardstock and then popped it up on some dimensionals. As a final bling touch I put a row of rhinestones along the base of the card.

Thank you for coming to visit. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

KWerner Colour Inspiration #38

This is the first time I have participated in this colour challenge and decided to do so today because I had most of the colours. I did not have the ruby red so substituted it for rose red instead. My parents have their 34th Wedding Anniversary coming up and so I used my new stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalogue for the sentiment. I also couldn't go past my new Polka Dot stamp, Felt Fusion and distresser. I just had a Stampin Up party at my house recently and really wanted to start playing with my new things.Thank you for coming and having a look at my little blog, I hope to see you again soon. Bye!
