Ahhh this rain that we have been having here has been relentless. Watching the river go up and down and up again is really weighing heavily on me. On Friday there was a brief snippet of blue, I grabbed my camera and took a photo just to remind me that blue skies will be back again, very soon I hope. I'm sure many would agree we are happy to share the rain in exchange for a bit of sunshine.
1. Sparkles in the grass
2. Oh I do miss you blue sky
3. Little pretty weeds that look like an angel with wings. It's amazing what you can see with a lens sometimes.
4. Happiness in the form of new gumboots. Wish they came in my size.
5. Enjoying those new gumboots and getting out for that swing no matter what the weather.
6. A little something I'm making for a little girl's birthday coming up soon.
7. Apple pie for dessert.
8 & 9. A treasure box made by Miss 9 and her Dad to house her new collection of stickers.
Playing along with the lovely Em again this week.
The rain has been so full on, hasn't it? I'm still holding out for a last few weeks (days?) of beach weather. Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteYour little weed flower is a beauty. We saw some sunshine today, most welcome as we also have been watching our river go up and down and up and - well you know how it is. A few days of blue skies would be marvellous.
ReplyDeleteLoving your gumboot fun. Hoping the sun starts to shine for you more this week.....it's nice to have a change! Looks like your basil plant thriving in this weather though! Pesto for the masses I think :) And just quietly, everyone needs a treasure box of their own (I still have mine under my bed!) Have a wonderful week
