Thank you Edna!

When I went to collect the mail today to my surprise I found this lovely RAK card and some pretty paper flowers in the mail from Edna15 over at Splitcoast. Thank you for a lovely surprise, the card is beautiful and the flowers gorgeous colours, I'll look forward to using them soon. I am very lucky, what a good day I am having today. I hope you are all having a good day too.

Hello, hello, hello!

Yes I am still here and have been creating but not very good at keeping my little blog up to date, sorry about that. (very naughty I know) Anyway because I have been busy making things but not uploading them I have a few to share with you and so that's my excuse for not putting in all the materials because there is just too many to list. Of course if you want to know what I have used I am more than happy to let you know if you are interested so leave a comment and I'll surely get back to you. One of my little projects was a matchbook card which I made for a lady in my stamping class for her birthday. I got the idea from Sherelle's Blog, I just came up with the measurements for the mints I put inside. It was really pretty easy and quick. The other projects include a little post it holder and card made in stamping class and also a scrapbooking page I just had to make for my little girl's first day of prep.

And a little something that is totally unrelated to stamping is this pretty little book that I picked up yesterday at a local book/bead/music shop which I couldn't resist. You just never know when you might need a book like this. lol.
Anyway folks I hope this makes up for my lack of posting for the last week, hope you are all doing well. Talk soon.

Hello there my friends! Did you all have a lovely Valentine's Day? I hope that you did, I didn't go out with my husband but I did enjoy spending the day with him and had Thai Takeaway for dinner. As a family we went to a little friend's party and had a good time, afterwards I came home and did some stamping. Anyway folks I'll say goodnight for now and talk to all of you again soon.

Hello there!

Hello my friends sorry I haven't been here to visit all of you lately, just busy with life and not doing too much stamping except for a card that I made for one of my fellow stampers at our weekly class. A friend of mine who is a SU Demonstrator holds weekly stamping classes at her house and she started up a birthday club where we all WOW (lol) each other with our own creations and make someone happy on their special day. See you later!

Last Card for the Evening

My daughter Miss 5 has a birthday party to go to on Thursday after school so I thought I would try and be organised and make a card this weekend so I don't need to worry about one thing this week, boy is it going to be a busy week! Thanks for visiting.

It's Me Again!

Hello there, I told you I had a few cards to make today. This is my second card today, I'm on a roll which is good. This card I made for my friend's little girl who will be turning 7 soon and I decided that I would make a card using the Limited Supplies Challenge on Spitcoast. Gee I had fun making this pretty, girly card. Might talk to you again soon today, until next time bye!

A Clean and Simple Card

I was busy with my daughter's birthday preparations so I wasn't able to play in the challenge last week but wanted to make a RAK and decided to go with that idea. Have a lovely weekend everyone, I'm hoping to post some more cards this weekend. (heaps to make!) See you all later.

Birthdays are fun!

Hello there everyone! I have finally got a birthday photo to share with you and also some thank you cards I made last night to hand out to the people who came to the party. It isn't something that I normally do but I just thought it might be a nice thing to do.
Here's how I made the card:
1. Cut vanilla and white cardstock to size. (I just cut an A4 sheet length ways in half)
2. Stamp butterflies randomly on cardstock.
3. Cut out pink cardstock with spellbinders in two sizes.
4. Emboss smaller circle with the Thank you folder.
5. Put a couple of pieces of sticky strip on either side of cardstock at the top and wrap ribbon around and tie in a knot.
6. Put kindy glitz around larger circle in small dots.
7. Place smaller circle on dimensionals and attach to larger circle. Do the same with the larger circle and then put onto the card.
8. Layer some flowers with sticky dots, put a dew drop in the centre and attach.
9. Add a couple of dew drops down the lower right hand side of the card and there you have it, one thank you card.
I hope that was helpful, I am going to a stamping class now so I'll talk to you all again soon.
