No more braces

The braces finally came off yesterday and can I say I think she looks even more grown up then she did with them on, her teeth look lovely.  I am glad they're off though, I know she is. It has been trying at times with some hiccups along the way but she has beautiful straight teeth now. When she's older she will be glad she had them on, I know from personal experience, eight extractions and two years later when I was 19 years old. There will be many more experiences to go through together, and I think we coped pretty well in the end.

Have a fantastic Friday

  4. she looks so pretty and confident. thanks Mum and Dad for the investment in a beautiful smile!
I only had 4 extractions before my braces when i was 11 or 12 yrs old. just be aware of the wisdom teeth making their way down. I had to have mine surgically removed when i was 15, so as not to damage/disrupt all the work done by the braces.
have a happy smily weekend at your house! Jane x

  5. What a truly gorgeous smile :)
I wish my parents had gotten me braces when I was younger...due to having two crooked teeth it's the one thing I notice on other people.

  8. What a gorgeous smile your girl has. I remember getting my braces removed when I was about the same age. It was such a relief. I'm so glad I had my teeth fixed back then though.

  10. Congratulations, look at that smile!! I think straight teeth is an amazing gift to your children. Does this also mean the end of orthodentist bills?? One of my school gate mums just finished paying off her first 2 then her 10y.o. suddenly started having tooth issues, so she's pretty much being paying for her ortho's yacht & holidays for 9 years straight. Love Posie

  11. How excited she must be! I had braces as an adult and really wish it was something I'd gotten over and done with when I was younger. Your girl has a beautiful smile which will see her through many happy moments as her life progresses.
