How was your weekend? We caught up with family enjoying a homemade lunch and a yummy dessert thanks to my mother in law. On the way home we stopped by the bookshop so I could pick up a copy of this book, I'm almost finished the first.
Sunday was spent doing things around home, some baking for school lunches, washing my very dirty car and making some birthday cards.
While I was busy the girls played happily, Miss 8 rediscovering her doll and having a wonderful time looking after it and changing her clothes. Miss 13 could be found cutting and gluing, I'm sure she will become a pastry chef when she grows up, she loves making anything sweet.
Tonight I will find out how I went in the photo competition, to say I'm nervous is an understatement. I will let you know how I go either way, I'm crossing my fingers.
Wishing you a wonderful Monday.

Sounds like a lovely, quiet, blissful weekend. My oldest son who just turned 17 had a doll that he carried around when he was little -- he loved it and wouldn't go anywhere without it for the longest time. :) Your handmade cards are very pretty. Wishing you all the best, Tammy
