Today it rained for the first time in ages, it was so nice to hear the rain on the roof, to see my newly planted seedlings getting watered in, to know that my water tank would now have water in it and it was also nice to be able to snuggle inside for a change. So while I was enjoying the cooler weather I was also enjoying a bit of time getting lost in the inspiration on the web. I'm not on pinterest but I love looking at it and today I looked a bit. I found someones crochet boards and I got lost in the lovely projects they had pinned and thought I'd show you what I found, you might even see something you might like to give a try. I loved the idea of making this sweet little dream catcher, tutorial found here.
This simple but clever idea of making a tag I thought would make a great gift idea for a teacher or maybe a child along with a book. And how about this crochet pouch, you can never have enough little pouches/purses can you?
I love making things for little babies and with a new niece to make things for I found this bonnet pattern that would look so sweet on her.
And how nice does this crochet hanging basket look? I like the look of the natural twine used in crochet.
What do you think, was there anything that you thought you might like to give a try?
The crochet tags are adorable! You could always use them as bookmarks as well. xx

ReplyDeleteLovely projects, I am on Pinterest but never visit, I would rather jump from an inspiring blog to another.
ReplyDeleteI do love the bonnet pattern, so sweet!
That bonnet has just made it's way on to my list of things to make! :)
ReplyDeleteThe dream catcher is great! Do you think it would be possible to make a similar slightly larger one using the same pattern? And the hanging basket is lovely too. Pinterest is amazing for inspiration. I usually have a browse there on a Saturday, but it's finding the time to make projects and crafts I come across that's difficult :)
