This weekend we

went to the girls school fete and had a great time. Miss 6 enjoyed the feeding the baby animals

while Miss 10 was preparing for the senior band performance in front of the fete crowd, I really enjoy watching her play, my proud mama moment:)

Today we decided to go for a Sunday drive to Mount Tamborine. There was a small school market on today which we enjoyed having a wander around, look at this pretty church I spotted across from the school.

Then we headed to the bakery for some fresh bread for our bbq while sitting down enjoying the view.

Heading to the country is just what was needed to relax and hang out together.

We then headed for a walk to Cameron Falls, nice but long so an icecream to finish the day was on the menu.

I hope that you enjoyed your weekend and I'll be round to visit your lovely blogs this week in between birthday and father's day preparations. Are you ready for father's day? There's still this week to go, so I should be ok! Have a wonderful week.

  1. Sounds like a really lovely weekend. Wish I lived nearby so I could have visited your girls' school fete, they're always heaps of fun. I remember going for a drive to Mt Tambourine when we were last over there, such beautiful scenery to drive through. That church is so cute and that icecream looks delicious! Have a wonderful start to your week my friend xx

  4. Glad you had a lovely weekend. Ours was special too - lots of family time. It must have been "school fete" weekend because we went to one too.

We love Tamborine Mountain. Our fave place used to be the coffee plantation cafe. It's changed now, but they used to have the game "Tantrix" for you to play at each table. The perfect way to get you to stay and eat/drink more. We went once for a coffee and left later after 2 coffees, cake, lunch, and buying the WHOLE tantrix game. Fun time!
