Saturday, August 6

So how has your weekend been?  It's been quiet around here, some swimming lessons this morning for the little one and then a trip into town for her to choose a crystal or two, a reward for all the effort she's been putting into getting her homework done each day. After her shopping I took her around to a few op shops and at the same time discovered some new places I'll be visiting again when I'm in town next.

Last week I showed you the beginning of a little project for me, a crochet hook holder which I finally finished tonight.  So now I have something pretty to hold my hooks and not the plastic bag I've been using.   I found the pattern in this book which has lots of cute projects to make including this gorgeous blanket I found on this blog full of crocheting inspiration, it's so very pretty.

Enjoy your Sunday may it be a happy one

  7. Catherine, Your hook pouch looks wonderful. My crochet hooks are stored in an old pen case, plastic. I am forever misplacing them, so, I am very inspired to make a pouch similar to yours.

I still haven't found the time to open your parcel yet. I will be sure to make the time tomorrow.

    Have a wonderful week.
    Cheers, Deb

  12. Cute pouch. I must have one of these for my on the go projects. Problem is, I am not an organized person. The hooks would find there way back there for a while, and then....they would be scattered all over the place again. Oh, well. Just don't have that organize gene, I guess. Great job.
