My Nan just recently had her 84th birthday. She didn't want anything but I wanted to give her something made by me. I know she bought herself a new lounge so I thought I while I'm on the pillow making roll I would make her some to go with her new lounge. She's been a little sick recently and not eating properly so I made her some of Cathie's muesli and I framed this photo of the girls for her.
It's really hard seeing your grandparents become very old each time you see them when for so long you remember them fondly being so active and lively. With some rest I know she will get better, I can see now though it's important for me to see her as often as I can and to call her for that weekly chat.
Take care♥
You are so lucky to still have her - and she is lucky to have you too!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the girls and your beautiful card
Take care
It sounds like she is very lucky to have such a caring and thoughtful Granddaughter. Your pillows are a lovely gift. It's hard seeing your grandparents age, my Nanna is definitely slowly getting older and older each time I visit her too x
ReplyDeleteYour Grandmother would have so many beautiful memories of you in her heart. The pillows are a wonderful idea and sewn with love they will be more precious to her because of that and the photo she will adore.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day my friend
Always Wendy
