Today the girls walked in their first Anzac parade with their school.  They were there volunteering their time as a show of respect for those who have fought for our country, that gave us our freedom and for those who still fight in war to help others.  These are moments that build character and a sense community within themselves that I see only as a positive for them in their future.  It was a proud day to be a parent and to be an Australian.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left to grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Thank you
Anzac Day

  2. Well done to your girls. It's so important to keep remembering. I think it's hard for our children to fully understand-thankfully- but such an important part of our history. Beautiful photos Catherine.
