Wow what a weekend, great in so many ways and some of it was well pretty terrible too.  I suppose things happen for a reason, to make you aware of how lucky you are and to be  more vigilant  about things too.  It is important to remember that things are only as difficult as you make them and always, always learn from your mistakes too.  Things could be worse and they aren't so that's a good thing and I'm grateful for that.
On the Saturday there was blue skies and there was some scouring through the antique market to see what pretty treasures we could discover.  A little something for me and something the upcoming tea party.  The little one and I had a wonderful time looking, touching, and talking to those who were full of stories to tell us about the items we bought.
Sunday it was a date for the hubby and I.  A bit of a special one, a few hours spent together and chocolate, the perfect way to end our topsy turvy weekend. Chocolate makes everything better I'm sure.

I hope your weekend was a good one♥

Our week is somewhat topsy turvy, looks like life might be that way for a while....extended family health/ageing crisis. But life is still good, very good.
