It was Sunday night, I was sitting down doing a little blog surfing when my oldest came over to me with her school diary and a sticky note. She bent down and said to me 'Mum can you please write some words of encouragement for me?' I responded with of course sweetie I'll find some and write them down for you.  My oldest blew me away with her sweetness, to know that she can depend on me to write things down to uplift her spirits when she needs it really touched me.  Words of encouragement help us all big and small so here are some to lift your spirits today.
You are someones reason to smile.

You are absolutely, completely and totally perfect.

You are loved.

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Do one thing every day that makes you happy.

Mistakes are proof you are trying.

Never forget you are amazing.

Believe in yourself.

  2. Love these quotes. Haven't heard the third last, but it is very pertinent to me right now as I fail another attempt at spinning yarn on the wheel. Mel x

  3. Your heart must have been so joy-filled at her sweet request and I'm sure those words of encouragement will comfort and help her when they're needed the most. I have a little poem somewhere among my bits and pieces called 'A Letter To A Teenager'... I'll hunt it out one day and email it to you... would be perfectly suited to your beautiful girl.I love that photo above too x
