On the menu this week

Every Sunday I sit down and write out a menu for the week ahead some weeks the ideas flow other weeks it takes me ages to come up with a list. One of my favourite go to websites would have to be  Taste, we've tried lots of dishes from this site. I find that vegetarian dishes are the most difficult to find but I've found some nice new ones to try this week and I thought I would share just in case you need some inspiration too.

Vegetarian

Meat
Chicken curry with soba noodles
Steak burgers

For the lunchbox

What are you cooking in the kitchen this week?

  1. Those veggies look so GOOD! I'm a huge fan of Taste as well and I've been trawling their slow cooker section lately for my Slow Cooker Thursday series... This week I'm making (well my slow cooker is) a Vegetable and Chickpea Curry. Will have to explore your vegetarian suggestions too - I'm on lent for Easter which means vegetarian for the next 6 weeks until Orthodox Easter.

  4. Those vegies look positively delightful! I admire people who menu plan, I think it is organised and smart...and hopefully less food is wasted, I'd like to be able to do it one day :)

  8. I am never usually organized enough for menu planning (my fault!), but I do like the idea of it. I've been roasting a lot of squash from the garden, trying to use handfuls of spinach and silverbeet up each night in various dishes (frittata, fried with garlic etc) and I'm trying to use up what's in the freezer. So it was lamb shanks in a tomato wine casserole last night and roast lamb on Sunday night. Sorry, no recipes to link to though.
Nice to be able to "visit" once again Catherine :)
