It was a good week this week especially on the photo taking front, more opportunities I think and more of an effort too I would say. There were a couple of not so great moments lets just say it would be nice if people were a little more polite on the road and I will remember to be conscious of the direction of my camera because even though I wasn't taking a photo of you mr bikie I really don't like being given the backward peace sign when my children are around thank you very much....Lessons learnt this week for sure oh well they are there for a reason I suppose. But here's some of my favourites moments captured.
1. I really wanted to try and capture this little spider some more but it didn't like the camera much and ran away.2. Her creation, flower perfume.
3. When I woke to let out Molly in the morning I saw this beautiful sight.
4. A bit of cookie baking.
5 & 6. A visit to my inlaw's new place to see the progress, she will love living here.
7, 8 & 9. Celebrating mother's day a week early with my mother in law. A trip to Lake Samsonvale and a drive onto Dayboro.
Joining the lovely Em this week.
May your week be a wonderful one.
I love all of these - your macro of the spider is amazing! I can't believe all the colours on him! :)
ReplyDeleteI hate rude drivers! It can really spoil your mood when you are supposed to be having a nice time, especially when it is over nothing. Lovely photos this week, those cookies look delicious! :)

That spider is amazing.... at first glance I thought it was a plastic one :) Love the hot air balloon shot. Your mother-in-law's view is breathtaking - what stunning scenery xx
ReplyDeleteI just love your macro pics.....looks like you might have to visit your in-laws more often when they move in xxxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely journey through your week Catherine! We quite often see the hot air balloons flying over us from Byron on a Sunday morning...the girls are always amazed and they come very close as they land just near us often. The photo of your trees is nearly the same as I am looking at this morning here....beautiful, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI saw the picture of the petals in the bowls and memories came flooding back to me of doing the same thing as a child. Lovely to see that some things don't change :)
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely when they still enjoy simple things like we used to isn't it:)
DeleteOH dear...horrid Mr Bikey! Little French Madeline says Poo Poo to the tiger in the zoo - and that's what I say to mean Mr Biker too!
ReplyDeleteThat spider is very unusual. I like taking photos of small creepy crawlies. I hardly took any photos last week - I hope inspiration jumps out at me soon.
I hope you have a lovely week.
What a wonderfully pretty combination of colours that spider has! Beautiful.
