Another month has rolled around already and I thought I would take on the challenge again of documenting my day with ten photos over ten hours. This is what my day looked liked today on this rainy public holiday.
1. I started off the day with a cup of white tea in my new little tea pot.2. A bird taking refuge under our deck out of the rain.
3. My attempt at making activated almonds didn't quite go to plan, the result some yummy roasted almonds.
4. Ironing
5. Drying clothes.
6. Shoes for polishing, ready for school tomorrow.
7. A few more rows of crochet on my shawl.
8. Writing the menu for the week ahead.
9. Busy, busy. Creating a little something for her cousin's christening on the weekend.
10. Dinner eaten, the list ticked off, sitting down relaxing and watching some telly.
I hope your day was a wonderful one. I'm joining Rebekah today maybe you'd might like to as well.
Cute slippers, what a beautiful looking day! I wish I could get into a better menu planning habit.
ReplyDeleteI love those slippers - so cosy!
ReplyDeleteThe ritual of tea is so comforting isn't it?
Looks like a lovely, calm home day - I love those!
I love these posts so much... they speak of home and family and comforts and all things happy. I had every intention of joining in today and then our day went a but hay wire and so I didn't get around to doing so. Your teapot is very cute, I have a similar one in white. Your shawl is looking just beautiful and your slippers must be so cosy to slip into before bed. Wishing you the loveliest of evenings xx
ReplyDeleteI love these Posts too! Such a great idea and so nice to have a little peek into how you spend your time :-). A beautiful day. You are such an impressive organiser. Looks like we start and end the day very much the same but there are a few items missing on my list (ironing and menu-planning) and shoes only get polished once a year before School photos. Oh Dear! Love your slippers :-) Have a lovely week. Mel x
