365

This year I have decided not to participate in Jodi's portrait project again.  My girls are getting older and aren't quite always happy to oblige a photo so I thought it best not to do the project this year. I will though post the odd photo or two of them up here but not many. I did though have another idea to keep me taking photos, not to let what I have learnt be wasted and to keep learning, is to do a 365 project.  The thought of doing it is exciting and daunting all at the same time, I hope that I can keep it up to date.  I won't start another blog but rather just incorporate my usual posts into the project.  Some days the photos may just be a random photo of what's happening in my day, I'm really not sure what I will take a photo of every day but I'm hoping I will find something.

So here are a couple of photos to try and catch up, I need just one more to catch up so tomorrow I will be back with a couple more.
 Abundance from the garden.
A sewing start to the year.  Just a little more left to sew and I'll have a new item for my wardrobe.

  1. A MASSIVE undertaking, Catherine - but if you can pull it off, it will be so, so wonderful. I love both these shots to start you off. x

  3. Love the photos of the tomatoes....yum. I first did Project 365 back in 2009 and loved it. I pretty much take photos every day now anyway through habit. My tip would be to roughly plan out your week ie any event or function those days are taken care of then the other days take things that arise during the day or have a list of things like day, bin day, shopping day, house decor, food/meals eaten, garden etc. also have a reminder on your phone or computer in the morning or early afternoon as a reminder. Your photography will definately improve over the course of the year. Check out 3191 miles apart for some stunning stills and the lovely story behind how it came about. 10. wonderful! I'm giving the 52 another try, but I find it a bit tricky with not so willing participants, it could well become all about olive! I love these and that shirt is so pretty x
