I thought I would share with you my finished softie Maisie. I finished her last night and I think she looks kind of cute. This morning I was telling my eldest daughter how cute I thought she was and she said to me that I should make one for myself then. One day maybe, I love those Princess and the Pea softies;) and I finished it just in time because I found out that my friend had her baby this morning so hopefully I will get a chance to meet her new baby girl tomorrow. Now I had better get to it and make some bibs and a card tonight.
And some flowers for all the sweet people who stop by to say hi and leave kind comments for me to read. My eldest daughter grew these sweet flowers from seed and after all the rain we've had they have started to bloom so I thought I would share them with you.
If you want to see what everyone else has been up to you should stop by Kirsty's blog to check them out!See you soon.
Love the softie you've made. You've chosen such lovely fabrics and I'm sure your friend will love the fact that you've put so much time and love into the gift for her baby. Love your daughter's pretty flowers. I remember the first little flower patch I had when I was a young girl - I grew snapdragons from seed and was so excited to see my first flower appear :)
Maisie is fabulous! I love the colours & her sweet face too.
