In my space today there been a bit of sewing happening. Just when I thought I wouldn't get everything finished in time for the birthday girl, I sat all day Tuesday and cut and sewed up her bag.
And on the weekend when we went for our drive I thought I would try and get productive so I started crocheting this beanie for myself using some of the yummy yarn I bought early last month. I'm thinking maybe some ribbon and a scallop edge instead of flowers? Although it probably won't get used much now, I'll at least be ready for next Winter!
Why don't you stop by Kirsty's to see what everyone else has been creating this week!
Love the bag and the fabric...Im sure it will be loved.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute bag...I bet you'll find time to wear the hat. It's going to be fab.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bag and that beanie looks like it's going to be a stunner too! I just delivered a beanie to a friend as a little surprise gift. Not terribly appropriate on the first day of spring, but it will be like getting another gift next winter, when she gets to wear it!!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric you've used for the bag and the bag itself looks great.
ReplyDeleteI think a scallop edge on that beanie would look sweet.

ReplyDeletei LOVE that fabric, it would have to be my favourite! Im sure the birthday girl will love it too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little bag - to be loved for sure! Very brave attempting a beanie - I'm thinking about it - at least with the onset of spring there is no immediate hurry with that one. Have a super week.

Oh wow. That fabric for the bag is amazing. Great choice of bag shape too.
ReplyDeleteLovely!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour for the hat. Will look so stylish with a ribbon trim. You can still wear it on a crisp Spring day.
ReplyDeleteThe bag is great, you're always up to something very covetable, Catherine! I saw one exactly like it on Megan's (mousehouse) blog just now. How amazing is that! You must both have a lot in common to choose the same fabric for the same pattern. But, no wonder, it looks amazing. x
ReplyDeleteThe Bag has turned out Great..
