My Creative Space

My Miss 11 is heading off to camp next week and I thought it would be nice to make her something a little bit special to take along with her. I love the pretty pillowcases with crocheted edging and so I thought I would try one with a twist. I bought an opped sheet in her favourite colours and started hooking up some ricrac. Instead of crocheting the edge I thought I would crochet ricrac and sew it on the pillowcase instead. I'm hoping it will work and that the big girl likes it. I like the idea of her sleeping with something I made while she's away.

Pop in at Kirsty's for lots of creative inspiration:)

  8. OMGoodness Catherine! We are SO much alike!! Our Miss Olivia is off on her first school camp on Tuesday and I made her a new pillowcase out of her chosen fabrics! I popped a little secret pocket in the inside and popped a little pic, note and one of my charms for her so she won't be afraid! I hope your Miss 11 has a wonderful time at camp. I LOVE your pillowcase with that gorgeous ric rac:) Happy weekend my lovely friend ~ Txx
