I have a god daughter who turned 15 last week, which I still can't believe, wow time has flown by so fast. So when I was told how excited she is to get a gift from Auntie Catherine I have to say I was a bit daunted, what on earth do I make for a teenager who was once a fan of blue but now loves red is a bit more girly? I asked her Mum and came up with a few little handmade things. This gift is reaching her late because I admit I put it off a bit, so tomorrow it will go in the post winging it's way north 3 hours away. If you are interested in any of the tutorials I used you can find the headband here, the plaited headband tutorial here, the crochet flowers here and the box purse here.
May your Wednesday be a wonderful one♥

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift. Your god daughter is going to love it. I was just about to ask you if you followed a tutorial for the headband as I'd like to make one for Grace so thanks for the links. Is it best to use stretchy fabric or is cotton okay too? I might make her one of those little purses too to keep her trinkets in.
