Tuesday, December 13

How has your day been today?  Mine was quite productive, four headbands and a cushion cover later which is a little bit ticked of the sewing list.  I've still got three notebook covers, two babushka dolls and one marble bag still to make.  I find if I think too hard about all the things left to do I get a bit of an uneasy feeling so I'm trying not to think about it too much.  Does that make sense?

One of our activities to do in advent calendar is to make Molly a treat.  So I went into my bookmarked recipes and used this one I found earlier in the year on Meagan's blog.  I just told the girls what they needed to do and stood back and let them do the rest.  And the end result was some yummy bone biscuits for Molly which she finds very tasty indeed and there was enough to give to the dogs next door for Christmas too.
And look what arrived in my mail box the other day, this lovely package of goodness.  I was lucky enough during blogtober to win the generous giveaway that Jacqueline was hosting over on her blog.  The prize was a handmade Santa sack with my little girls name appliqued on it.  She is going to get such a surprise on Christmas morning when she finds this under the tree, thank you so much Jacqueline it's beautiful  and will be treasured for years to come. And Jacqueline also put some other goodies in my package too, some notebooks, some fabric covered magnets and a blue bookmark already being used by Miss 12.  I love getting happy mail.

I hope you've enjoyed your Tuesday

  2. Denial is such a wonderful think. I use lashings of it just to get through the average day, let alone xmas. Have not done any shopping ( aside from the kids), no cards, tree not yet up...... need I go on. Your dog is so cute waiting there expectantly. melx

Those doggy treats are pretty ace...I reckon our girl would be quite chuffed to have some special bikkies made for her.

  6. The doggie treats are such a great idea. Growing up, our farm dogs had canned meat and bikkies - nothing special but I would loved to cook them something. Your girls are gorgeous, Catherine.
