My little pirate all dressed up for her Pirate Day. At the last minute I was scratching around to find something to create the scar and down the very bottom was a little bit of old eye shadow which did the trick. It's hard finding make up in my cupboard these days I keep it to a minimum but I really should invest in a little bit more though, but the need to wear now isn't what it used to be and I'm not that great at the whole putting on makeup thing either really.
I'm so glad it's Friday, it's the last day of term and the girls have 2 weeks holiday. I love the sleep ins, doing as we please and not having any time constraints. As I was cleaning I was thinking of all the things I would love to do, go to the beach, a few catch ups with friends would be nice, a pj day, some baking and craft. Hopefully we get to do some of these but just being together is perfect in my eyes. Well it's also the weekend so have a wonderful weekend my friends, no big plans have been made but some time out in nature is on my list of to do's. Take care and have fun.

Hi Catherine, she's the coolest looking piratess ever. That scar is so realistic!
ReplyDeleteYou did such a stunning job, Catherine - well done, my friend! J x
ReplyDeleteaww she is the cutest little pirate ever! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteShe's the cutest pirate ever. My makeup is simple -- moisturizer, powder foundation by Maybelline, blush, eyeshadow, mascara and a lipstick. Quick and simple. I don't have time for anything else. Enjoy the holiday. It's the weekend here ... no plans and hubby is travelling so will be very quiet. My favorite kinda days after crazy busy work weeks. Best wishes, Tammy

That is a fantastic costume. Love the skirt. And not that there was anything at all out of place with your previous blog design, I do like the 'new look' x

Awesome outfit, especially the hook.
ReplyDeleteI've spent the years since being at home in minimal make up too but have just begun trying to make a bit more of an effort in this area. It;s amazing how much more refreshed I feel with just that little bit more effort :) I'd love to be better at the whole make-up thing too :)
