It was a drive into the country today for us, a visit to my parents home, my home as a teenager. Spring I have noticed today is at it's most visible at my parents home. My father has been busy, pruning, watering and fertilising and you can see as you walk around their property the most lush grape vines, mulberries waiting to ripen, buds on the citrus, macadamia nuts forming, busy bees and a beautiful array of flowers. Every time I leave I am grateful to still have this place to come to, to have my parents to visit and to come home with a sense of peace and appreciation for the beauty of nature.

  6. It is a great gift to be able to return to the family farm and see nature and activity at its best, must be very satisfying. All the better that it's within easy driving distance. I especially like your macro of the rose flower.

My parents had to sell the family farm when my father's ill health came early.
