Miss 9 - In her element at the beach, I think she could have stayed here creating for hours in the sand.
Miss 13 - Enjoying some quiet time at the beach, I still can't quite believe I am the mother of a teenager.
Some of my favourites from last week would have to be Meagan's photo of her little girl Indigo, I like the point of view and how her dress sits on the floor softly; this one Amelie pushing her little trolley along the path looking rather sweet; I love this photo of Atticus the colours it's just a lovely capture.
Joining in with the lovely Jodi.
Hi Catherine..I love the quiet contentment that your girls exude in all their photos. You must have a lovely atmosphere in your household...and I'm sure you're a great mum!
ReplyDeleteI love that your photos have captured the last of Summer-y weather. Your girls look so similar in this photo- just gorgeous. x
ReplyDeleteYour 'little one' looks much older in this shot somehow...taller I think :) Miss 13 always displays such a graceful poise. I hope you are having a lovely weekend my friend x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. My youngest son is 14 but give him a sandy beach and he can entertain himself for hours. I can't believe I'm the mother of a son who just went off to Cyprus with friends for Spring Break and who will this summer be heading off to college thousands and thousands and thousands of miles away. Yikes! Where did my little boy go? Even the 14 year old has hit puberty and is growing like a weed with a deep squeaky voice to match. So very strange indeed. Best wishes to you,Tammy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Catherine! Looks like a lovely time was had in the sun, sea and sand! :)
ReplyDeleteTime and space for both to enjoy. The years slip by quickly don't they.
ReplyDeleteThe beach is beautiful at this time of the year...especially if it is warm enough to swim...We have just returned from a walk to blow out the cobwebs of being home all day...spectacular sunset and not a drop of wind.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos as usual. xxx
Beautiful photos of your girls enjoying the beach in their different ways. It looks like it is still be warm where you are, Wendy xx
ReplyDeletedoesn't time just creep up, one minute they are a baby in your arms and then a teenager. i can hardly believe that i have one entering her twenties in a couple of months time! these are such lovely beach shots catherine. i didn't take enough photos of my older girls as they became teenagers so i think it is so wonderful that you are joining in with the 52 project and i love seeing your photos each week x
ReplyDeleteGosh, these are just perfection. The beach seems so much more lovely over there than here! beautiful. xo
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely day. My Mr 1 permanently has sand in his shoes!
ReplyDeletelovely.
ReplyDeleteGood thing the weather was lovely for you, Miss Molly looks very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI might sound crazy but it is such a pleasure to see your girl reading a book, I have always loved books and reading, something I hope my own children will also love. Lately I have noticed the lack of younger people (makes me sound so bloody old) with a book.
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures this week.
the clarity and light are gorgeous! it's always so interesting seeing older kids in comparison to my little 3 xxx
