It feels like ages since I've really been present in this space of mine. I'm sorry for not being here more and stopping by your spaces to visit. I will be trying to keep on top of things a bit more and get that balance back. Please know that I do stop by but I have been a little quiet in the commenting department and that I do appreciate the time you take to say beautiful words here. Things are feeling better now (all is great with my hubby and girls), there have been a few events that have made me question myself and what kind of person I am. Admitting your faults and wrongs you've done is something that I will do, I'm not perfect, though when my efforts are met with hurtful words I question myself. I have had the wonderful support though from my friends and family to help reassure me during a few moments of doubt. Life can be tricky sometimes navigating through relationships but the words I read from a
wise woman the other day 'Some changes look negative on the surface, but you will soon realise that space is being created in your life for something new to arise' really sang to me. Those words so apt and true for me right now and I'm looking forward to all the new and good, the first being holidays!! Now onto something a little less intense, here is what my week looked like.
1. The science fair at school.
2 & 3. A walk around Southbank with my love. It was a date day, a trip to the
markets followed by the
Quilt exhibition and then lunch.
4. The lookout at
Mt Cootha for a hot chocolate and a sweet treat.
5 & 6. Up the top of the water tower looking out over the mountains.
7. A new collection of books to look over to keep me busy during the holidays.
I'm joining the lovely
Em this week. Wishing you a wonderful week tomorrow is the start of school holidays and I can't wait!
