I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who left such beautiful comments about my big girl's braces yesterday, she was so happy to read them and enjoyed everyone of them:)
Today the girls and I decided to make our way to the Mathilda's Market in Brisbane. My girls are at a good age now that they like to come and explore with me and to see what pretty things they can find for Mum to buy;) I haven't been to this market before and the quality of the stall holders was high. There was lots of beautiful things to buy and I didn't go home empty handed. I have a birthday coming up at the end of the month for a young girl and found the perfect crocheted hat for her. I also got to meet the lovely Steph from Mon Petit Poppet and see all her beautiful work. I wish my girls were smaller because I just love her french girl dolls.

Hi Catherine, the markets sounded fun, it's great when you discover a new treasure trove of goodies to peruse!
ReplyDeleteToday we headed out to a 4wd show, and then off to Kings park for a picnic and a couple of hours chasing the kids around the huge playground they have there... heaps of fun, but I think Hubby and I are more exhausted than the kids!

ReplyDeleteI love handmade markets too. My problem is I always end up spending way to much money!! Glad to hear your girls are at the age that they enjoy the markets...nice to know there is hope for me yet! ha ha. Enjoy your Sunday.

ReplyDeleteHi Catherine - glad you and the girls had fun wandering shopping for lovely things. I haven't been to the Mathilda's Markets here in Perth yet but might try and go to the next one. Our Sunday was a morning tea at home with a friend and then jobs around the house.
