My Creative Space

Today is still all about crochet! The baby blanket is coming along slowly, I think I could say I'm about half way there now. It's starting to curl a bit around the edges, does that mean when it's finished I'll need to block it or would an edge stitch stop this from happening?

I've been looking through a pile of books getting creatively inspired

and wanting to start on a new project using some yummy yarn I got for my birthday.

To be inspired, stop by Kirsty's for more creative spaces.

  2. Hi Catherine. Your baby blanket is gorgeous! There is no greater gift, especially for you new baby that is handmade. Lovely.

I'm about to post some crafty things I've made recently on my blog and was wondering if it's ok to link to your blog - seeing as you inspired me to put down the paper and pick up the fabric & yarn. If you have the chance is it ok to email me? smallerthanariver@gmail.com

    Thanks.

  8. Your blanket is coming along nicely Catherine - I have a blanket my aunt crocheted when Grace was born and it's such a lovely keepsake, just as yours will be when it's finished. You're like me with your pile of library books giving you inspiration at the moment - I have a huge pile I have yet to flick through sitting on our kitchen table :)
