Every morning religiously I eat breakfast, it's rare that I do not have something.  It's usually nothing fancy and often I pick the same thing every morning.  I'm not one for hot breakfasts they're too much for my belly in the mornings so I usually have 2 weet-bix with honey and if some of my favourite berries are on special I will sprinkle them on there too.  To break up the monotony of my morning ritual I finally got around to making some of my favourite muesli using Cathie's simple and yummy recipe, after it had been sitting on my recipe holder for too long.  So tomorrow I know what the girls and I will be eating for breakfast in the morning, how about you?  Do you jazz up your breakfast in the mornings or do you eat the same thing each day?  If you have any favourite breakfast recipes you'd like to share I'd love to hear.

I hope you've been enjoying your weekend. xo

  1. That recipe sounds divine. I'm a muesli eater myself. I usually eat the Vogel's brand but today they didn't have any on the shelf (don't you hate that)... So I'm trying the Woolworths brand Berry Bircher muesli which I've never noticed before. I should try Cathie's. Enjoy your brekkie in the morning. Pruxxx

  2. That sounds very yummy, will give it a try. I have muesli, or toast, or an egg, or sultana bran, or raisin toast, all depends on the mood, but definitely can not go without brekkie.

  3. I love muesli - I think I should try Cathie's also. I am trying really hard at the moment to actually make myself eat breakfast! Sometimes it is just so made here in the mornings and I don't feel like eating until 10am but I am trying to retrain my body as that is just not healthy of me!! You know what they say, eat like a king at breakfast....

  4. I have to eat breakfast, I can't start my day without it. I actually like a warm breakfast. I have been having two weetbix with warm milk and then an omelette. I heard that if you want to avoid the 4pm blood sugar slump, you should have a good quality protein with your breakfast, it seems to be working for me! Oh, and I have to have my glass of orange juice in the mornings too :). Same thing for me every day!
