I'm playing along with Vic this week, taking a peek of what's outside.
Outside I looked over my neighbours fence and saw the bats.
Watched as the clouds rolled in for an afternoon storm.
And here's my cat, sitting on the front porch, she turned 17 years old last year.
Play along too here♥
Funny,I was just admiring your photos when I got your comment about my outside shots.Love those bats -but possibly they might be a problem if you have a fruit tree..?
ReplyDeletehow spectacular do those bats look. aren't they noisy? and haven't the skies been grey & wet. your cat looks as though she is doing ok for 17. we had a couple like this growing up. xo.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably storm right at school finishing time. Your cat is gorgeous. We see the bats flying over from our front verandah. When the kids were smaller, they used to call them bat birds.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
Yes the clouds are rolling big and black over here too :) Time to go off line :) Your cat is so beautiful wow 17, so fluffy!:)x
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing that you have so many bats just outside, we do not have that in NZ. And your cat is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the yummy recipe last post, I made the slice today!
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine, love your pic of the approaching storm and the bats.Since your post on vintage sheets iv'e been seeing them everywhere, even found one in my own boxes of stuff when looking for something else! Its a purple/lime one, now what to do with it? Never thought of making jam with grapes, you are creative!
ReplyDeleteThat photo with the bats is amazing! I thought they were black cockatoos at first glance :) And your cat looks so soft and cuddly. Enjoy your evening x
ReplyDeleteWow, look at all those bats! I thought they were huge seed pods or something to begin with.

ReplyDeleteDo the bats destroy the trees?
It took me a minute to realise what the Bats were, We don't have them here. Are they as bad to have nearby as everyone says? Your gorgeous cats face made me smile.
