Gosh I love Sundays. I do have a bit of a routine list I need to work through on a Sunday. I need to do the washing, usually the ironing but not today as we are still on school holidays and the menu planning. I generally take the day slowly and with only a few things to do today we all decided it was time to revisit the library. The library is such a wonderful place to visit and I managed to find another great selection of books to look at for the month. Did you have a nice weekend?

96/365 Afternoon light
Todays weather was just perfect for cleaning the house and doing the washing, very different from last week. It seemed to take me all day to get things done but the afternoon light when I finally got around to taking the washing off the line was beautiful.

93/365 Leaf
It was the first official day of school holidays today. Today we decided to stay home and take the day slowly. My youngest had a friend come and visit for the day which was lovely. Later in afternoon I went outside and did a little bit more gardening/weeding. The garden is looking lovely now and is ready for me to plant some seedlings which I am looking forward to. It's such a nice feeling having a garden weed free and looking it's best. While outside weeding I came across this unusual leaf and thought it would be fun to photograph for this weeks 'My Week of Close Up'. I hope you enjoyed your Tuesday.

77/365 Corners of my yard
Looking from my backyard, down into my vegetable garden, through the arbour is one of my favourite little corners of my yard.
76/365 In the Garden
There was a flurry of activity on Saturday outside. I managed to get out into the front garden and do some weeding and mulching. It is such a good feeling to see things looking nice and neat again. My hubby got out there too, being super productive trimming hedges, trees and mowing. Pictured are some sweet alyssum and looking up through the jasmine tree. How has your weekend been?

66/365 New Life after the rain
We have been seeing a lot of rain here lately. Temperatures have dropped a little too which has been nice for this jean loving woman. Any drop in temperature and it's the perfect excuse for me to put on a pair of jeans. Along with all of the rain has been lots of lovely growth in the garden. Lots of things are growing including lots of weeds. I really need to make a conscious effort to get into the garden at least 30 minutes a day and I am sure it will make a big difference.

Mother's Day - Ten on the Tenth
Mother's Day this year was just my hubby and the girls. I had told them I really wanted to go for a drive to Toowoomba with them and have a picnic lunch, nothing flash just something simple, all of us together. We took our time in the morning not rushing about and made the long drive and it was worth it. We found our own little picnic spot and took in the view while having lunch. There was a bit of exploring done, looking for some Autumn and we were not disappointed. I would have to say my day was just beautiful, being with my loving family and being loved by them, perfect.
How was your Sunday? I hope you had a beautiful one.
