Mmm I think my youngest may have forgotten to go and collect the eggs for a few days. We now have quite a few eggs to use up, I think there may be a pavlova being made this weekend.

116/365 Nooks in my home
A space in my home that I spend a lot of time and I love it. I love being able to overlook the backyard, such a wonderful thing when having children. When we renovated the kitchen we did it on a tight budget. We have laminate bench tops, big tiles but it still looks lovely to me. Perhaps one day we might change it up a bit especially if we decide to stay here after the girls move out. I'm thinking stone bench tops, a farmhouse sink and subway tiles....

I haven't been much of a decorator for a few years. A plant bought here and there for inside but otherwise not a lot else. As the girls have grown and finances allow, I purchased this pretty rug to spruce up my little office space. I had my eye on it for a while and when it went on special I thought why not. When I purchase something for our home in the future I only want to do it thoughtfully and ethically.

79/365 Some New Additions
When we got married we were blessed to have been given some lovely pieces of furniture. That was now almost 20 years ago and so we decided it might be nice to do a little updating. Today we got our two lovely pieces of furniture delivered. And we are looking forward to having these in our home for at least another 20 more years. Next time to update that very old stereo that doesn't always work so well:)

77/365 Corners of my yard
Looking from my backyard, down into my vegetable garden, through the arbour is one of my favourite little corners of my yard.

37/365 Corners of my Home
My craft room would have to be one of my favourite pockets of my home. A little front porch, converted into a craft room is the perfect little bit of space for me to create and retreat to.

15/365 Back to norm
With hubby back at work, and school starting next week, today I started getting back into a bit of a routine. So it was a usual Monday here with the weekly shopping done and a bit of baking. It feels good to get some routine back in my days, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for school just yet.....

A couple of simple little birthday gift cards.
The light filtering through my neighbours flowering tree.
My lemon tree has tiny lemons on it, yeah I hope they grow into big lemons.
I was playing around with underexposing. I love the ball of light in the distance, sunset today.
I can't quite remember the name of these, Dad would have always known....
Miss 10 relaxing, filling her new book with beautiful drawings.
How has the weather been where you are? It was freezing here last night, -2℃ brrr not fun in a Queenslander home. The poor girls were dropped off at school when it was just 4℃, finally winter has arrived.
Have the most wonderful Saturday.

168-172/365 'Sunday Snippets'
I hope you can forgive me that the photos are just of today. Honestly I struggle to find interesting things to take photos of each day. The girls are generally at school and my days are usually filled with well general house hold things which aren't quite so photographic. Our week was about exams for my oldest, a trip to the shops to enter her in a model competition (she didn't get chosen but we know she is gorgeous just the same:) and my youngest had a weekend of fun with her friend who took her here to celebrate her birthday. Today was spent at home catching up on washing, ironing, menu planning and knitting. Next week is our last week of school before holidays so I'm hoping to catch up with a dear friend for a cup of tea and a chat if she's free, it's been a while.
Did you have a good weekend?
Have a wonderful week.
I woke to a misty morning that hung around till mid morning.
My tomato plants full of flowers. I'm looking forward to lots of tomatoes.
A pretty spider web covered in misty dew.
Dew everywhere.
My cute little companion Molly.
Trying new hairstyles found on the internet.
The chooks out of their pen for a scratch around the yard, the sun came out, it was a beautiful day.
Miss 14 baked us a chocolate cake for afternoon tea.

The afternoon sun pouring through her window this afternoon. It was a warm day here today, I can't complain though we have been having nice summer days.
A dear friend sent me this beautiful card filled with kindness.

Miss 10's new birthday watch, very groovy indeed.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far it's been a busy one socially here not for me but for my girls, life does change as children grow up in a good way.
